Professor Anthony Grayling is is Professor in Philosophy at Birkbeck College, University of London and a Supernumerary Fellow of St Anne’s College, Oxford, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
A distinguished literary journalist and broadcaster, he writes regularly for a number of leading broadsheets and magazines. He is the editor of Online Review London, and Contributing Editor to Prospect magazine. He is the author of many books including What is Good?, The Quarrel of the Age: The Life and Times of William Hazlitt and Among the Dead Cities: Was the Allied Bombing of Civilians in WWII a Necessity or a Crime?
He also wrote with Mick Gordon a play, On Religion, which explores many of the ideas discussed in Against All Gods. On Religion is also published by Oberon Books.
