Trevor Silvester is an internationally recognised therapist and NLP trainer. He is the founder of Cognitive Hypnotherapy and, with his wife Rebecca, run The Quest Institute, training people from a wide range of backgrounds to become accredited Cognitive Hypnotherapists. They also run corporate and public courses on a range of skills including the language of influence and how to manage stress. Trevor has over 15 years experience working as a therapist, helping with a wide range of issues – stress and anxiety being prominent among them. He has a clinic in Harley Street.
Trevor has appeared on BBC Radio on a number of occasions, and has been a speaker at the Institute of Directors in London, The Senior Women in Policing Conference, and the Scottish conference of the Institute of Personnel and Development, speaking on the subjects of influence, coaching, goal planning, learning and creating change.
He is the author of two books, Wordweaving: The Science of Suggestion, and The Question is the Answer and is the Ethics Director of The National Council for Hypnotherapy, after having been the Editor of its Hypnotherapy Journal for 8 years.
